Maule BSc (Hons) SRCh
HPC registered -
Graduated from the Northampton School of Podiatry in
2001 gaining a BSc (hons) in Podiatry, and also gained a Post Graduate
Diploma in 2007. I am also a member of the Health Professions Council
and a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. These memberships
are renewed annually. I am currently undertaking an MSc in Theory of Podiatric
Surgery at Glasgow Caledonian University and undertake regular continued
professional development (CPD) courses and conferences across the UK.
These qualifications and affiliations provide full indemnity
insurance and enable me to work for the NHS and privately as a State Registered
Podiatrist and take referrals from BUPA registered consultants. I hold
certificates in local anaesthesia and prescription only medicines and
can directly refer to Consultants for further investigations and treatments
when required.
I have worked for the NHS in various parts of the country
with prolonged placements at Bedfordshire PCT, Dacorum PCT and moved to
London in 2004 and began work in Chelsea and Westminster PCT and Hammersmith
and Fulham PCT. I currently work for the NHS at Charing Cross Hospital
as part of the Podiatric Surgery team. I have specialist interests in
local anaesthesia, minor surgery, podiatric surgery and biomechanics.
My private work began in North London 5yrs ago with
time spent in Highgate, Crouch End and Belsize Health. Now concentrating
on my Belsize Health practice I have settled into a friendly environment
which enables me to provide a professional service in a relaxed atmosphere.
The practice has now expanded into other areas of North West London giving
my patients better choice of appointment availability, locations and transport
links.
